Grygla Trap Team finishes regular season

The 2018 Grygla Trap Team has finished their regular season 3rd out of 9 for Class 1A Conference 9. Trophies are awarded to 1st and 2nd so, unfortunately, the team missed a trophy by one. For the past two years, Trevor Kiesow has been the head coach for the team. For the 2019 year, Kenny Lunsetter will be filling his spot as head coach. Kiesow will remain a coach, along with Shannon Nelson and Jeremy & Tonia Haack. Lunsetter said for the 2018 spring season results, Jaden Kiesow will be getting a medal as he placed 2nd in the conference for the males; Levi Kiesow got 4th and Peyton Verbout got 6th. For females, Jamie Dougherty got 4th in the conference with Chelsie Nelson getting 5th and Carlye Kiesow placing 6th.
Coming up for the team is the 2018 Trap Shooting Championship. The Chargers will shoot on Monday, June 11th, in Alexandria, MN. Everyone on the team was eligible to attend, but only 13 of the 21 signed up to attend. The 13 going to Alexandria to shoot their best out of 100 rounds are: Jake Ahlbeck, Nolan Anderson, Jamie Dougherty, Payton Grandstrand, Jared Haack, Levi Kiesow, Jaden Kiesow, Katelyn Larson, Gracie Lunsetter, Chelsie Nelson, Eli Sundberg, Peyton Verbout and Tucker Verbout.
Also, the team will be hosting their fun shoot this coming Sunday at the Thief River Trap Club and it’s just what it sounds like – a night of fun shooting games where they get together with the Goodridge Trap Team at the event!
The Fourtown/Grygla Sportsman’s Club, Machinewell, Inc., and the Grygla/Gatzke Jaycee’s Club are the 2018 Trap Team Sponsors, which Lunsetter wanted to express his appreciation for all they have provided.
