Grygla Trap Team

Trap Shooting has begun in Grygla. Kenny Lunsetter is the Head Coach this year with Shannon Nelson and Trevor Kiesow assisting him. Tonia Haack is also a team staff member. This year, the group has a team captain; it was based off the student who had the highest average from the prior year. This year’s team captain is Jaden Kiesow. Trap is open to Grygla 6-12 graders. 

The Fourtown/Grygla Sportsman’s Club has sponsored the team the last four years and paid for their state registration. Machinewell provides protective glasses for the kids. Trap team members also sold raffle tickets for Pheasants Forever and Ford Trucks, and will receive some of the proceeds for that.

The Shooting Range is located at the Thief River Gun Club. The hours are Sundays from 1-3pm and Thursdays from 4-6pm - combined with the Goodridge Trap Team.

Sunday May 5th/Thursday May 9th: Competition Week 3 

Sunday May 12th/Thursday May 16th: Competition Week 4 (Mother’s Day Weekend) 

Sunday May 19th/Thursday May 23rd: Competition Week 5 

Monday May 27th: Memorial Day Week of May 26th/June 1st: Fun Week (held at the Thief River Trap Club) 

June 10th: Trap Championship Alexandria. 

Friday June 21st: MSHSL State Tournament 

July 10th/14th: USAHSCTL National Tournament
