Good Samaritan Society of Clearbrook getting to know Gordy Hormann

At the Good Samaritan Society Clearbrook they are getting to know Gordy Hormann. Gordy started working there as theAdministrator a couple of years ago, but he has worked for Good Sam since January 12 of 1984, previously in Jackson, MN. He has a Duel administrative roll with Blackduck Good Samaritan. 

He is married and has two grown daughters, Britta and Rebecca. Gordy is a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Kiwanis. 

When he has spare time he likes to do yard work, wood working, fishing and reading. His favorite foods are burgers and steak. Mel Brooks movies and Oldies music from the 50’s and 60’s is what he likes to listen to. When he has time to read it will be Science fiction or Minnesota themed fiction. Some of his best childhood memories are the neighborhood baseball and Football games they played.  One thing he has learned from life is “don’t  get too high or too low – things will work out.”

Gordy likes to visit Mexico and Sarasota, Florida. He looks forward to retirement when he will have time for all of his hobbies.
