Gonvick Lions meeting
The Gonvick Lions Club met on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. They went over the Halloween Party that they sponsored at the Clear Water Life Center. There were kids and kids and kids inside for fun and games. They decided not to have the trunk or treat as the weather last year was not favorable.
Shari Soberg volunteered to decorate one Christmas tree at the Historical Center in Shevlin for the Lion’s Club. They will be on display until December 21.
They will be taking out their annual Christmas baskets on December 14, 2025 to those living alone.
They thanked Lions Members Jim and Bonnie Ford for the cleanup that they did at the Lion’s building.
They made donations to BRIC, the Clearbrook and Gonvick Santa Day activities. Those two events are coming up December 5th in Gonvick and 6th in Clearbrook.
They are planning their January meeting as a Christmas potluck and exchange.
