Giving your pets the royal treatment

DeAnna Haagenson is a 1988 graduate of the Twin Cities School of Pet Grooming. She started a pet grooming business in McIntosh in 2003. Serving our local area and beyond, as far as Red Lake, Crookston, Ada, and the Fargo-Moorhead area as well. 

Her skills and experience can be seen in each do groom that she does. 

She handles the pets with gentle care which causes even the special needs dogs to have trusts in her and, “become some of her best babies,” she says.

DeAnna says she loves serving the community and the pets with grooming and boarding, “I know the importance of having a safe place to care for your dog’s when you are away from home, and the dogs love being here.”

Grooming removes bacteria from skin and coat of the dog and supports new cell regeneration, which aids in overall pet health.

Keeping your pets ears clean, glands checks and nails trimmed are also important to pet health. Nails that are too long can force toes to grow crooked or dogs to walk different to compensate for the long nails. This in turn can cause stiff joints and muscles, as well as spinal issues in older pets.

Good nutrition is also extremely important for animals as well as people. A lot of issues can be helped just by a change of diet. “Through my years of experience, I have learned how to evaluate certain diseases such as thyroid issues and allergies from bad pet food ingredients. I have seen many dogs have drastic changes in skin issues and ear and eye infections, when their diet is changed to Life’s Abundance,” said DeAnna. 

Andrea and Brice Stordahl have been customers of DeAnna’s and say, “Our dogs have been boarding with DeAnna for years.
