Garfield Lake Ice racers

The Garfield Lake Ice racers returned to the ice on Sunday with cold, windy and snowy afternoon conditions.   The club ran both the youth class and main adult class with two complete sets of races.

Landon Weeks dominated the Youth class for the second week in a row taking all four checkered flags.  In the Adult main class Hunter Weeks and Chad Tabaka put on a show for the fans battling side by side in epic racing with both picking up heat and feature wins.  Cameron LaBelle also won a heat race.

Racing will resume next Sunday at noon 1/4 mile south of Laporte on Garfield Lake.  There is no admission charge to watch and restroom facilities are available.
