 The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous complaints regarding a fake business using a rural Polk County Address. A website www.erdmannequipgroup.com was created portraying a company that sells farm and construction equipment.

There have been numerous reports from people in multiple states who have been victim of fraud from this website.  The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is actively trying to get the website taken down.

This press release is being sent out for all to be aware and to spread awareness regarding this website.  The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is not investigating criminal activity as the incidents have occurred in other jurisdictions
