Dinner theater is a success

The Goodridge School hosted a “Night on the Town” last week. The Goodridge Senior High Art Class put on an Art Show at 6pm and the Drama Department performed “Larceny and Old Lace” at 7pm. The Close-Up Group hosted a new fundraiser this year; they turned Friday’s performance into a dinner theater with 136 people being served a delicious menu of salad, pork loin, baked potatoes, corn and dessert!

This was Eric Mickelson’s 17th play he has directed and what a great show it was! “Larceny and Old Lace” synopsis: Harold Peabody’s sweet aunts, Millie and Gertie, are “gambling” in Las Vegas while he stays home to watch his eccentric uncle Charlie, who thinks he is a pirate! When Harold’s jailbird cousin, Mordred, shows up with the FBI on his tail the pandemonium multiplies!

Cast included: Brandon Stanley as Harold, Donavin Hagen as Charlie, Katerina Groven as Gertie, Jennah Henrickson as Millie, Ben Groven as Mordred, Anna Mickolio as Linda, Braiden Carver as Officer McNeally, Chantel Grindeland as Officer Larson, Felix Jensen as Agent Klick, Alliya Smith as Agent Klack, Hannah Seyller as Gloria, Payton Homme as Dr. Shortanoar, Mataya Sargent as Nurse Widget, Thor Henrickson as Judge Taylor, Amy Wiskow as the Taxi Driver and Sydney Solberg as Dr. Pretorious.
