Dear Jacob: A Mother’s Journey of Hope - an Authors Visit

“It happened on a pitch black, moonless autumn night near his rural Minnesota when Jacob, along with his younger brother Trevor and best friend, Aaron Larson, were pedaling their bikes with a bag of candy and a VCR tape of The Naked Gun.”

The disappearance of Jacob Wetterling haunted Minnesota and transformed the nation.  In this special author visit Patty and Joy will share some of their behind-the-scenes experiences of those decades - not only as a search for a missing son, but as a testament to a mother’s unwavering love and a community’s resilience.

Lake Agassiz Regional Library-Bagley welcomes co-authors Patty Wetterling and Joy Baker.  They will share this deeply moving program as they discuss their memoir.

The program will be held at the “Bagley American Legion” (122 Main Ave N, Bagley) on Wednesday May 13 at 2pm.

Books will be available to purchase at the event  from Four Pines Bookstore with a book signing following the presentation.

These programs are offered “free-of-charge”thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.  Learn more at larl.org/legancyseries
