Clearwater County 4-H Members Shine at Minnesota State Fair

• Clearwater County 4-H members had a successful showing at the 2026 Minnesota State Fair, bringing their projects, creativity and knowledge to the state’s largest 4-H showcase.
• Eleven Clearwater County 4-H members were recognized for their general project exhibits, earning a total of nine blue ribbons, one red ribbon and one green ribbon.
• Blue ribbon recipients included Elizabeth Leavell for Vegetable Plate; Kaylynn Waldvogel for Food Preservation; Jack McKnight for Industrial Technologies – Metal Work; Marshall Farr and Macie Farr for Home Environment; Lydia Waldvogel and Olivia Waldvogel for Needle Art; and Elliot Anderson and Brynn Lundy for Craft.  Landon Waldvogel brought a fine art exhibit.    
• Izack Girtz earned a red ribbon for Wildlife Biology, while Corryn Lunberg received a green ribbon in Fashion Review with an Upcycled Clothing project.
• The Minnesota State Fair gives 4-H members an opportunity to share projects they have developed through months of learning, planning and hands-on work. Each exhibit represents more than the finished product—it demonstrates the skills, knowledge, creativity and confidence youth gain through their 4-H experiences.

Congratulations to all of the Clearwater County 4-H members who represented the county at the Minnesota State Fair. Your hard work and dedication are something to be proud of!
