The friends and family of Kilmer Christopherson will be holding a benefit for his family at the McIntosh Community Center on Sunday, August 26th from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
There will be a scalloped potatoes and ham dinner with all the trimmings, along with a quilt raffle, silent auction and Chicken Bingo.
In June, Kilmer was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer that had metastasized to the brain. Kilmer passed away at his home on Monday, August 13, 2018.
His wife, Dianne, took a leave of absence from her job at American Federal in Fosston to care for him.
Kilmer and Dianne have been an active part of our community for many years and active members of St. Mary's Church in Fosston.
Donation items for the silent auction can be dropped off at The Thirteen Towns, American Federal Bank in Fosston, and Neil's Quality Meats or First National Bank in McIntosh.
A benefit account has been set up at First National Bank in McIntosh if you would like to make a donation.
He also has a Caring Bridge page at https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kilmerchristopherson.
Please come and join his family and friends and share memories and stories.
