Bemidji Speedway Driver Profile
Alexa Sparby Gross (23) grew up around racing watching her dad Matt race since she was the age of 2 years old. Landon participated in Enduro racing and really enjoyed the competition. Landon (22) and his dad came to Bemidji Speedway to watch and they both decided to buy a car. They just happened to pit next to the Sparby’s.
Alexa races in the Wissota Super Stock class and Landon in the Wissota Midwest Modified class. Landon is currently in 5th in points and Alexa is 6th in points.
Pitting together and racing together and earlier this summer the two were married. “Spending time together doing something we both love!” They expressed.
“Watching each other improve every week/year moving into tougher classes and celebrating each others first everything. Heat wins, feature wins, hard charger awards, track points,” are all highlights of their racing careers to this point they said.
They can both be seen this coming Sunday at Bemidji Speedway starting at 5:PM. This week all the drivers 20 and under, the “Young Guns” will be introduced during intermission.
