Kayla Larson operates under the name Bare Bone Custom Europeans Mounts, I’m from Clearwater County and For the last 4 years I have been doing European Mounts. I First started when my son and step son both shot bucks and they needed to be harvested, and I wanted to create a nicer way to display they’re antlers and I found a major passion in creating such a beautiful piece of art. They’re cool looking, take up less space than a shoulder mount and cost a fraction of more traditional taxidermy work. As a result, European mounts are growing in popularity with deer hunters as a way to preserve the memory of the hunt and the buck they harvested .
