Awards presented for RLCC volleyball

Mustang volleyball banquet was held Tuesday, November 29th at 6:30 p.m. at the Oklee Hall. Coach Nancy Bray presented the varsity volleyball players with letters and special awards.
The letter winners were Seniors: Kelsie Sirjord, Ashley Longtin, Shelby Gunderson, Nikki Schmitz, and Megan Berberich; Junior: Hannah Kolstoe; Sophomores: Julia Bernstein, Sydnie Gunderson, and Sarah Christensen; and Freshman: Calyssa Eskeli.
Longtin, Sirjord, and Berberich were each awarded with the Academic All State Award for maintaining a 3.8 GPA or higher throughout the volleyball season. Longtin and Sirjord were also awarded trophies for All Conference, and Schmitz for Honorable Mention.
Special volleyball team awards were also presented at the banquet. Sirjord was presented with the Serving, Blocking, Hustle and MVP awards. Longtin received the Hitting award, and Gunderson was given the Most Dedicated award. Schmitz was presented with the Passing and Digging awards. Kolstoe received the Most Improved award.
