Area churches travel to Grand Forks for the Feed My Starving Children project

Youth and adults from Vernes Lutheran, Our Saviors Lutheran, and Grace Lutheran traveled to Grand Forks on April 2, 2016 to help pack food for the Feed My Starving Children project.  Along with 125 other people, this group packed 165 boxes during a 2 hour shift.  This food will be enough to feed 95 children for a year.  Plastic bags were filled with rice, soy for protein, dry vegetables, and other ingredients.  Each bag is enough for six meals.  Food will be sent to children in Haiti and Uganda.
