American Education Week

November 16th through the 20th, is American Education Week.  This year’s theme for American Education Week is, “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.” The theme represents NEA’s vision of calling upon all Americans to do their part in making public schools great for every child so that they can grow and achieve in the 21st century.

The Red Lake Falls School District has many activities throughout the week, such as a food drive ran by the FCLA group, class projects, art design projects and reading themes focused around the weeks goals, just to name a few. 

The district encourages all residents of the community to visit the schools and watch children learning to think, solve problems, and cooperate on projects. Whether it’s thanking a teacher, reading to kindergartners, or talking with high school students about your work, your support can make all the difference!
