Clearwater/Beltrami County 4-H Youth Participate in the 14th Annual Northern MN Project Bowl Invitational at UMC

Youth from Beltrami and Clearwater Counties represented their communities well at this year’s 4-H Fun Bowl competition held February 14, 2026, in Crookston. Two multi-county teams competed in the poultry division and both teams brought home Reserve Champion honors.

The Junior Poultry Team included Miller Farr, Marshall Farr, Olivia Waldvogel, Sawyer Morgan, and Andrew Waldvogel. The team demonstrated strong knowledge and teamwork throughout the competition, earning Reserve Champion recognition.

The Senior Poultry Team members were Annabelle Hass, Maddy Haas, and Kaylynn Waldvogel. They also had an outstanding day, earning Reserve Champion honors in their division.

Both teams will compete in March at the Regional 4-H Project Bowl.

Project Bowl is open to youth in grades 3 through one year out of high school. Teams consist of three to six members and may compete in project areas including dog, rabbit, dairy, general livestock, horse, llama/alpaca, plant science or poultry. Participants typically meet weekly for several months to study and prepare for competition.

Project Bowl provides youth with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the animals they care for while building teamwork, confidence, and communication skills. Beltrami and Clearwater Counties are proud of these youth and wish them the best of luck at Regionals in March.
