“Friends In The Kitchen”
“Friends In The Kitchen” with assistant Connie Nunemaker
The November “Friends in the Kitchen” cooking class was held on Wednesday November 12, due to the 11th being Veterans Day. The class was lead by Angie Ness, assisted by Connie Nunemaker. Each week the duo prepares three dishes that usually utilizes one main ingredient.
At first glance some recipes might not sounds good and not made. This week’s recipes were just that; Lemon Parmesan Kale (or Spinach) Salad, Chicken In Pumpkin Sage Sauce, and Pumpkin Cottage Cheese Bake. All three recipes were prepared in front of attendees.
After each recipe was prepared, guest were given a sample(sometimes seconds) of each dish. Pretty much everyone was astonished at how good each recipe was and planned to make them. Some guests in attendance said that by looking at the recipe they would not have made it.
Each month very tasty dishes have been prepared and shared, along with the recipes to take home. This class continues to draw a very good crowd of individuals wanting to learn how to make delicious simple meals.
The next “Friends in the Kitchen” cooking class will be Tuesday December 9, 2025, 12:30pm at the Bagley American Legion.
