“The 7th Inning Stretch”
St. Pauli Lutheran Church of rural Thief River Falls will be holding their annual Fall Event on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 3:00 PM in the afternoon. The program this year is “The 7th Inning Stretch” by TRF native Steve Larson, a Lincoln H.S. graduate. Steve has an extensive baseball card collection, as well as trading cards of movie stars, celebrities, historical events, etc. Many of these will be on the screen, as he talks about the history of his collection, and discusses things like why we sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” It’s a delightful, fun-filled event – he acts, he sings -- Steve is an entertainer!! Hot dogs, peanuts, and crackerjacks will be served!! Wear your favorite baseball gear!! Freewill donations, with proceeds going toward various charities. St. Pauli Lutheran Church is located at 11015 170th Ave. N.E., T.R. Falls. From TRF, drive 3.5 mi. SE on Hwy. 59, then 3 miles So. on Co. Road 20.
