Win-E-Mac Community Education along with Children’s Prairie Fire Theater, a professional touring theater company based in Barrett, Minnesota, presented a rollicking rendition of Sleeping Beauty on Friday, April 10th. The cast consisted of elementary students at Win-E-Mac who spent the week perfecting their lines and learning the play. During the Win-E-Mac/Prairie Fire Theater rendition of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, Grace Kaupang (r), playing the character of Sleeping Beauty, was awoken by coffee spilled on her by the ‘coffee girl’, Sydney Svalen (l). This rendition of ‘Sleeping Beauty” was about the making of a movie and the struggle for the lead role. Here, Nevaeh Simpson is the slate assistant and is starting a scene.
