The hardware store in McIntosh has new owners. Lee and DeeDee Narum recently purchased the store from Ken and Joan Kasprzak who had owned and run the store for over 10 years.
The new acquisition for the Narum’s will be combined with their current business McIntosh Country Store. The store’s will operate seperately for a while, but eventually will be combined into one store at the hardware store location.
The McIntosh Country Store carries livestock feed, a line of groceries, including bulk spices, and farm-fresh eggs, gift items, essential oils and more. They will continue to offer these items and more, including an enitre line of hardware and related products, with the combination of businesses.
The hardware line will transition from Do It Best to Hardware Hank. There will be many items added to the line that the store will be carrying.
The McIntosh Country Store will keep the spring and summer greenhouse in the current location for this season.
The hardware store will reopen on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, and the hours at new location will be Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday hours will be 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. The hours at the old location will stay the same with expanded hours during greenhouse season.
Both stores will continue to be staffed and all services will be available.
Ken & Joan have relocated the Edenpure sales and service center to an Erskine location.
Win-E-Mac apparel will be for sale at the hardware store.
