This fall, Lake Agassiz Regional Library is bringing a series of authors, musicians and entertainers to libraries across northwest Minnesota, as part of its Arts and Cultural Heritage Series.
Gonvick-area audiences will enjoy watching history come to life with popular living history performer Arn Kind, who will share how Minnesotans found themselves on battlefields and seas that were far more dangerous than anything they’d experienced before. This event will also be held at the Gonvick LINK Site (170 Main St.), on Wednesday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m. Plus, Arn Kind will be at the Bagley Public Library at 10:30 a.m. that morning (Wednesday, October 25) as well. Admission is free, thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. A full list of events across northwest Minnesota is available at www.larl.org/legacy.
The Gonvick LINK Site is a location of Lake Agassiz Regional Library, which is a consolidated LINK Site system comprised of 13 branch libraries and nine LINK sites serving the residents of seven counties in northwest Minnesota. More information is available at www.larl.org, and the library’s app, LARL Mobile, is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores for free download.
