Saddle up for the 29th Gonvick Lions Rodeo July 12 and 13

The Gonvick Lions Club will be having their 29th annual rodeo on two big nights July 12 and 13. Both days it will start at 6:00 p.m. featuring Wojo's Rodeo. It will feature full nine events with barrel racing to bull riding.
Saturday, July 13 will start at 8:00 am with the Samhold Youth Group serving a pancake breakfast at the church from 8 am to 10 a.m. This is a Mission Trip Fund raiser for the Summer of 2020.
Kandi's Kitchen will have specials going on Main Street.
There will be a parade at 2:00 p.m. Registration for the parade is 12:45 to 1:45 on Saturday by the Gonvick Community Center. Come one come all.
The Gonvick American Legion will be serving their tasty monthly fish fry at the air conditioned legion building from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The second day of rodeo fun starts at 6:00 p.m. at the rodeo grounds.
Advance rodeo tickets can be purchased in Gonvick at Northern Bail & Convenience (NB&C), Northern State Bank and Kandi's Kitchen; in Clearbrook at Y-92 C-Store and Border State Bank; in Gully at Shorty's Place and in Leonard at Reichert's Saddlery.
