Rose Java Qualifies for State FFA Competition

Rose Java, an 8th grade student and FFA member at Clearbrook-Gonvick High School, competed in the Region 1 FFA Meats CDE at the NDSU campus in Fargo on Tuesday, March 28th, and earned 6th place individually, qualifying her to participate in the Minnesota FFA State Meats CDE in April at the University of Minnesota St.Paul campus.

The Meats competition involves the evaluation of beef carcasses for quality and yield grade, identifying various meat cuts, and identifying wholesale and/or retail cuts.

Rose shows other students that if you study hard and try your best you will succeed and move on to the next level! The Clearbrook-Gonvick FFA Chapter is very proud of her hard work and her success! Good luck at state, Rose
