Jackie Ulrich has been the post master in Gonvick since December 2016 and she has decided to retire from it, so she can spend more time with her grandchildren, help her daughter with daycare, see her mother and mother-in-law more, and help her husband farm. Her last was on Friday, June 29 and she had been training in a temporary post master during her last days of work. Her trainee was Brenin Hill from Duluth, Minnesota.
Brenin is originally from Duluth and has been working in the postal service for about 5 years, but never as a post master. She has worked all over Minnesota and Wisconsin and will be the temporary post master or OIC, Officer in Charge for about 60 days, or until they find someone to replace Jackie.
