New sculpture added at the Clearbrook-Gonvick School

This new sculpture is in front of the Clearbrook-Gonvick School. The sculpture came to be from a design Brody Arlaud worked on in  3-D Art Class. Seniors who worked on the sculpture with him were, Keisha Jones, Cassandra Faldet, Kayla Berrard, Sierra Walters and Brianna Straabe. It is dedicated to the Class of 2018. Title-"THRIVE". Symbolism in the meaning is as follows:
-Organic plant-like shapes emerge from the base in a diamond pattern representing diamonds in the rough; our graduates, like diamonds prepared for polishing in a new phase of life's journey.
-The shapes have twists and turns representing the challenges and successes they will encounter on this journey.
-The base has been finished so it is unchanging in the outdoor elements representing a firm foundation and the 12 forms bright and ready for the journey yet over time will turn a beautiful turquoise-green representing continual growth.
-12 organic forms represent 24 graduates 24/2 in that we do not stand alone in life, we always have another to lean on.
