Joanna Dymond, has published her second book, "Wolf at The Door." The book features a seventy-five year old realtor detective W.D. Caldwell of Erskine, Minnesota who accepts an invitation to consult on a documentary in Los Angeles. His investigation of criminality. He knows evil when he sees it. Hired for his idiosyncratic beliefs, mental acuity and physical prowess he defies "the age code." His wry sense of humor and never ending curiosity, all add up to a compelling adventure

This was Dymonds second book with her first book "Crazy as a Loon" published in 2012.
Joanna Dymond was born in Clearwater County, Minnesota, to Gladys and Ernest Shelquist, but lived most of her life elsewhere.
She has been a public relations executive employed by KSAN FM in San Francisco, LBC 417 in London, England, WNEW TV and WNBC TV in New York and Public Television Stations. She has created campaigns for many television networks, radio stations, and art galleries including “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,” “Donahue,” “The Nightly Business Report,” “Marcel Proust: A Writer’s Life,” and the first exhibit of M.C. Escher’s Prints for the Vorpal Gallery. Joanna earned a B.A. Degree in English and Art History from San Francisco State University, a Certificate in Broadcasting from Brown College, and an M.A. in English from Bemidji State University.
Dymond has been the recipient of Arts Grants in Beltrami County. One a $400 Quick Grant for Individuals to hire award-winning author Mary Logue to assist her in editing her children’s book, Howling, Yowling, Growling, with the Lost River Wolf Pack.
The second grant of $385 Individual Artist Grant to hire award-winning author Mary Logue to assist her in editing her mystery novel, Wolf at the Door.
She currently resides in Bemidji, Minnesota with her cat, continuing to write fiction and memoir. She is a member of Toastmasters International, Sisters in Crime, and The Loft Literary Center.
