Comments:  “Keiran is wonderful to have in class. He is a good friend to others and enjoys playing many different things in the room with many different friends. He is a hard worker that always does very neat work. If he does not finish something at work time, he is the first to tell me that he is finishing it before play time! Keiran is very knowledgeable about many things and is able to contribute to most class conversations. It is great to have him in kindergarten!” “Kieran is a fantastic singer!!! He is a natural leader in class and so polite!!”

Name:  Niah Knutson-Willett,  Grade 1  

Parents:  Marni Knutson and Jermiah Willett   Sibling:  Baby sister Sawyer    

Comments: “Niah comes to school every day with a delightful smile on her face, eager to get to work!  That’s not easy when you have a brand new baby sister at home! Niah demonstrates great character; she is kind, thoughtful, caring, trustworthy, dependable, and always ready to help!  Niah is a role-model for our class rules and expectations, she works hard and respects the work of others by making great choices in her own behavior!  Niah always completes her work and is dedicated to finishing her homework on time as well.  She strives to learn and is willing to take risks that expand her understanding!  Niah, thank you for always trying; you most certainly deserve to be our Student of the Month!  Congratulations!” 

 Name: Bella Dahl , Grade 2

Parents: Craig and Laura Dahl Siblings: Becca (in kindergarten)     

Comments: “Bella comes to school every day with a huge smile on her face and is excited to learn. She is kind and respectful to other students. She is very helpful to her classmates and is always willing to help Mrs. Faldet whenever she gets a chance. Bella is a hard worker. She tries very hard to make sure she is always following classroom and school rules. Her homework is always completed on time too! Congratulations Bella on being chosen as Student of the Month! I’m super proud of you!”

Comments:  “Lydell is new to our school this year and we are so fortunate to have him!  He comes to school prepared every day and is ready to learn! When there is work to be done, Lydell digs right in and gets busy without being asked.  If there is down time, I can find him with a book out reading.  Lydell is kind to everybody and is always wearing a smile.  We are so lucky to have you in our class!  Congratulations Lydell!

Comments: “Natasha is a complete joy to have in class. She comes in each day with a smile on her face, and a positive, never give up attitude. Natasha is an incredibly hard worker and will do whatever is asked of her. Not only is she helpful to her teachers, but she is also willing to assist classmates when they have needs, and loves to teach her little sister! Great job Natasha; keep up the hard work!” “Tasha is doing a great job playing recorder.  She never gives up and always has her hand up to answer questions!  Way to go, Tasha!”

Name: Cooper Wishard, Grade 5

Comments:  “Cooper is an outstanding student in all areas.  He is hardworking, studious, and kind.  He is always offering to help out wherever needed.  He sets his goals high and works hard to achieve them.  In our classroom, he can often be found reading a book.  I love his positive outlook on life and learning.  It sure is a pleasure to have Cooper as a student & I’m proud to say he is our student of the month!” “Cooper emerged as a student leader/teacher in our ukulele unit.  He taught several students around him how to play short songs on single strings.  He is always so respectful and patient in class--a very positive role model and a nice young man!!!”

Comments:   “Leonte’ is a great role model to his peers.  His quiet demeanor is appreciated by teachers and his classmates.  Leonte’ is encouraging, kind, and very polite. He remains calm when things are stressful.  His friends say, “Leonte’ is very kind.”  “He is a good person to talk to.”  “(Leonte’) is always getting his work in on time.”  “He likes to talk with everybody  and he’s funny and he has a great personality.” “Leonte is a leader by quiet example ----I am so glad he is a part of our music classroom!”
