Indoor Social Activities in Gonvick

What does your winter look like? Would you like to be able to get some much needed exercise, but are concerned about slipping and falling on the ice? Would you like to spend time with people rather than your television? Clear Waters Life Center in Gonvick is available to meet your needs.
CWLC is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for public use. The gym is a great place to walk, or you can walk the halls and enjoy the artwork, furniture in Restore It!, or before long, planting in the greenhouses! An organized exercise routine is scheduled 11:00 to 11:30 AM in the Senior Connection room which is also open to the public.
The coffee pot is always on in the Coffee Coop, if you would like to sit and visit with a free cup of coffee. Kandi’s Kitchen always has a great lunch at reasonable prices, if you have worked up an appetite. You can head home from there or come back for the afternoon and play games or just visit in our comfortable dining area.
Art opportunities are available Monday afternoons, 1:00 to 2:30 PM, in our art studios. Beginning in March and extending through June, there will be a series of art classes: crocheting, jewelry making, fiber art, portrait drawing, and pottery! Classes are $5.00 per day, but what a fun way to spend an afternoon. You might think that you don’t have a creative side, but you will discover that with a little instruction, you really do!
