Grand Marshal’s for the Gonvick Lions Rodeo Parade were Scott and Marnie Fawver.

Mounted Honor Guard carrying the flags of the United States, Gonvick Lions Club, Lions International, Red Lake Nation and WoJo’s Rodeo were Billy Holum, Keith Wojo, Kelly Wojo, Steve Watne, Dani Watne and Lane Watne.

Carrying the Welcome banner for the 27th annual Gonvick Lions Rodeo day parade were Brody, son of Chad and Starla Sather and Kailey daughter of Billy and Daphne Klema. They both attend Clearbrook-Gonvick School and are going into the 5th grade.

Grand Marshal’s for the Gonvick Lions Rodeo Parade were Scott and Marnie Fawver.

They are being driven by Larry Sorenson in his 1954 Ford that he restored.

Scott and Marnie are active in the community and have a farm north of Gonvick. They supply the sheep that is used each year for the Gonvick Lions Rodeo.

Scott went to school at Gonvick-Trail and is the son Jay and Joyce Fawver, former Gonvick residents. Marnie went to school in East Grand Forks and is the daughter of Jerry and Lottie Englund, summer residents of Pine Lake.

Marnie also works at Essentia Health Services in Fosston.

They have 11 grandchildren and one is on the way to make it an even dozen.
