Fair board accepts ten new benches to be put around the fairgrounds

The Clearwater County Fair had another new addition to the annual event.  New benches for those attending the fair could sit down and relax. Henry Burrack made 10 benches for the county fairgrounds  as an Eagle Scout Project.
He came up with the idea before fair time because last year his mother Jenny had her second ACL knee surgery, the last one a reconstruction and she was on crutches at fair time. She was trying to bring her young kids to enjoy the fair, and it was very, very hard to get around and not have anywhere to rest while the kids enjoyed the fair. She did mention the lack of seating to Lindsay Paulson who is the office manager for the Clearwater County Ag Society.
Henry, 15, belongs to Fosston Boy Scout Troop 101, he is in 10th grade in Fosston (mostly A honor roll student!) His parents are Craig and Jenny Burrack and their  address is Mahnomen.
Henry joined scouting as a cub scout, while a Cub Scout, he earned the Arrow of Light Award, which can only be earned as a cub scout. He joined Boy Scout Troop 101 when he was in 5th grade. He earned the following Ranks: Scout Rank, Tenderfoot Rank,  Second Class Rank, First Class Rank, Star Rank, and Life Rank. While a Boy Scout, Henry was elected into the Order of Arrow, Boy Scouts Honor Society, where he currently holds the Brotherhood honor.  Eagle Scout candidates earn a total of 21 merit badges and  demonstrate the principles of Scouting by living by the Scout Oath and the Scout Law in their daily life.
Henry is currently a Life Scout (Life is the rank). He has completed the Eagle project and is waiting to complete the Eagle Board of Review. Once the Committee Board of review is complete, he will then move on to the District Board of Review. After the District signs off on the project, the signed Eagle application is then sent to the Boy Scout Council who reviews it and it’s then sent to the National Boy Scout office who issues the Eagle Certificate. Once the Eagle Certificate is issued, Henry is then an Eagle Scout.
The Eagle Scout award is the highest honor a Boy Scout can achieve as a Youth. Only youths under of the age 18 can earn the Eagle Scout Award.
The project that he selected for the award must benefit an organization other than Boy Scouting. The project plan must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort and the Clearwater County Fair board were very appreciative of the work that he did to make more seating for the many who attend the fair. The benches will be stored away for the winter in the fair buildings.
