Elementary presents “Candy Cane Lane”

Clearbrook-Gonvick Elementary students in grades K-3 added to the Christmas spirit with their performance of the Christmas musical, “Candy Cane Lane” on Tuesday evening.

A very appreciative audience enjoyed singing, dancing, speaking roles, and instrument playing as students told the story of “Randy, the Dandy, but Weird Elf”. According to the story, Randy is a little different than most elves and gets in trouble for trying to do the right thing for a family of bunnies. In the end, however, Randy is the hero saving Christmas for the bunnies and helping Santa to get started on Christmas deliveries. The concert concluded with a rousing rendition of “Jingle Bells” sung by students and the audience.

A big thank you goes out to the CG Custodial staff for their assistance in setting up the gym and taking down the stage after the concert.  Also, thanks to the elementary staff for all their help in getting students organized for rehearsals and the concert.  Students are under the direction of Tammy Ragan and Katrina Stewart.
