Many people attended the retirement party that was held for Brad Eck from his position at First State Bank. The bank has been sold to Border State Bank which is based in Greenbush.
Stephen Dahl, a member of Border State Bank spoke to the many gathered for the event at the Clearbrook Community building.
Dahl informed those in attendance that the Clearbrook bank was a perfect match for Border State Bank to purchase. They have good employees to carry on the success that it has had.
They saw that the Clearbrook bank was very community minded as well as Border State. Border State donated $7,500 for the tier project that is being planned for the City of Clearbrook.
One change that will happen at the bank in Clearbrook will be the borrowing authority. Bigger loans will be able to be made as all branches of Border State has over 1/2 billion available with all their branches.
