Clearwater County Food Shelf honors outgoing officers

The Clearwater County Food Shelf held their Annual Corporate Meeting on Monday, February 11 at the Bagley Senior Center.  Honored at the meeting were outgoing officers:  Becky Colebank (President) and Sherry and Glenn Rettmann (Treasurers).  After the annual meeting, the corporate members gathered to work on March Campaign letters.  March is the month when Food Shelves across the state make the push for monetary and food donations to carry them through the year.  In March of 2018, $8.1 million and 5.5 million pounds of food were gathered by Minnesota Food Shelves across the state.  Donations (monetary or food) may be dropped off at the Food Shelf during operating hours (Wednesdays from 10 am - 2 pm in the basement of the American Legion in Bagley) or mailed to the Clearwater County Food Shelf at PO Box 578, Bagley, Minnesota 55621.  CCFS Officers are President Jodi Quade, Vice-President Eileen Vorderbruggen, Secretary Jane Merschman, Treasurer Linda Gulbranson, Site Manager Margaret Rusch and Assistant Site Manager Julie Sten.
