Clearbrook-Gonvick Students Excel

CG music students traveled to Cass Lake-Bena High School for solo contest on November 6, 2019. Students have been working on their solo selections for many weeks, and were rewarded for their hard work and effort as our school earned 6 superior and 2 excellent ratings. Earning excellent ratings were Amara Churness, Soprano Saxophone and Jayna Tronnes, Clarinet. Receiving a superior rating were: Chantelle Kusick, Clarinet; Naomi Shamp, Euphonium; Savanna Rankin, Soprano; Danika Harmon, Mezzo-Soprano; Shayla Baker, Soprano; and Kjersti Snyder, Soprano.  Solo students had the opportunity to perform their solos in advance of contest at the Mystery Dinner Theatre on November 2. Students are coached by Katrina Stewart, Band Director, and Tammy Ragan, Choir Director.  The next performances for students will the High School Christmas Concert on December 17 at 6:30 p.m. and Ensemble Contest to be held in late Februar
