Ryan Grow has been hired as the new school superintendent for the Clearbrook-Gonvick school district. The school board members voted to approve the hiring at a special school board meeting held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
The current superintendent, Jeff Burgess, presented the contract for Ryan Grow. He briefly explained the health insurance benefits before the board members approved the contract and hiring.
Grow was present at the meeting. He provided contact information to each board member and expressed how he is looking forward to starting his new job at Clearbrook-Gonvick.
“It felt right when I walked in the door. I’m really looking forward to it,” Grow said.
Burgess explained that he will be working with the new superintendent on scheduled days in June. The two will use this time to go over budgets and other information. Grow will also have opportunities to get to know school staff on these days.
“We will make sure we have these days to ensure a nice, seamless transition,” Burgess stated.
