Clearbrook Fire Department fund-raiser Saturday, April 23

The Clearbrook Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a Fish Fry and Fund-raiser on Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the Banquet Room at the Clearbrook Community Center. Serving will begin at 5:00 p.m. The Fish Fry will be prepared by the culinary division of the fire department with their fine specialty cooks doing the frying! Due to the Fire Department’s never-ending determination to give city and townships the very best protection, the money from last year’s Fish Fry and Fund-raiser went towards purchasing a thermal imaging camera.

The money raised at this year’s Fish Fry and Fund-raiser will be put towards purchasing protective gear. Their goal is to be prepared for whatever emergency needs the community encounters and this addition to the fleet will expand their rescuing abilities. Local financial support also helps them to update and maintain equipment, and provide training for the firefighters without having to raise taxes.
