Memorial Day Services held

Memorial Day services were held in Clearbrook, Gonvick and Gully. This year marked the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Special recognition was given to area veterans.
Pastor Don Hanson was the special speaker at Gully. Special music was provided by the three granddaughters of Carole and Ray Tharaldson. Lonny Carlson read the list of deceased veterans. Grilled hamburgers were served for lunch after the program.
Pastor Kris Snyder was the special speaker at Gonvick. Special music was provided by Sue Sims, Bonnie Borene and Karen Johnson. LeRoy Sund- quist read the list of deceased veterans. Refreshments were served after the service.
Jeremy Davies gave the Memorial Day address in Clearbrook. Special music was provided by Dave Dahlberg, Nikki Anderson, Terri Dorman, Jill Bakken and the Davies family. Donna Rae Jacobson read the list of deceased veterans. Cake and ice cream was served after the service.
