Gully home destroyed by fire

On April 2, 2015 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a house fire in the town of Gully. Gonvick Fire Dept., Clearbrook Fire Dept., and Fosston ambulance also responded. The two male residents that were in the residence had safely exited the residence.
James Edward Hess, age 63 (DOB: 11/4/1951) and his grandson Terry James Gibbs, age 20 (3/2/1995) were present during the fire. Subjects reported minor injuries. The fire appears to be accidental. The residence was a total loss.
Nothing further will be released until more information is gathered.
