Higdems to Washington, DC
It was in 2014, over 10 years ago that Elwood and Joan Higdem of Clearbrook drove to Washington D.C. The best part is that they drove the Capitol Christmas tree across the 2,400 mile trip from Minnesota. The 75-foot white spruce was donated from the Chippewa National Forest. They made 30 stops along the way. What a fun trip they had meeting all those people who stopped to see the tree.

Tidbits

If someone from Holland married a Filipino. Would their kids be Hollapinos?

You know you’re old when you’re entering the year you were born online and have to spin that thing like you’re on wheel of fortune.

Ole said he is not going back to the doctor. Every time he goes his blood pressure goes way up. Sven wanted to know what happened. Vell…Ole said, “you sit there in a cold room with that little gown on with the tie in the back and a beautiful young nurse comes in to take your blood pressure. I yust can’t help it but it seems to go up by itself.”
