Doris Elnora (Widmark) Fultz, 81, of Bagley, MN

Doris Elnora (Widmark) Fultz, 81, of Bagley, MN passed away peacefully in her home on March 10th, 2015.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Chapel (10 Miles South of Bagley) with Pastor Dawson Grover officiating. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with the arrangements.  Doris was born June 16, 1933. She was the first of four children born to Oscar and Ina Widmark in Minerva Township where her family farmed and milked cows. After graduating from Bagley High School, Doris attended Oak Hills Bible Institute in Bemidji, MN during which time she married her high school sweetheart and best friend Doyle Fultz, September 27, 1952.  After many years of moving with the family, Doyle and Doris settled in Bagley in 1965 where they raised their seven children and were active in the community and church. Doris enjoyed playing the piano and gave lessons to many children, passing along her love of music. She enjoyed quilting, baking, and gardening, using her talents to provide for family, friends and neighbors. Doris found great joy in serving others as a Sunday School teacher, VBS teacher, babysitter, and cook. But her greatest joy and satisfaction was in her role as wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Doris is survived by Doyle, her husband of 62 years, children Gary & Cheryl (Almberg), Dwight & Josie (Prescott), Dan & Peg (Redetzke), Barbra & Doug Hess, Nathan & JoAnn (Strandlien), Karen & Larry Johnson, Mark & Michelle (Wilde). Doris leaves 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one brother Art & Sheron Widmark, and sister Janice Roddy.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ina Widmark, sister Lorraine Cleveland and granddaughter Lauri Hess.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are all of Doris’ grandchildren.
