Tristan Bakke receives All-State football honors

Tristan Bakke received the 9-Man All-State Honorable Mention Football Award. The plaque was presented at the last home basketball game by Clearbrook-Gonvick Head Football Coach Casey Kroulik. The 9-man football coaches association in the State of Minnesota selected those to be honored at a meeting in Verndale on December 10, 2016.
Tristan, the son of Brian and Jenny Bakke of Clearbrook, is a 5’11” 198 pound senior running back.
Others selected from the area included: Isaac Mills from Stephen-Argyle, Brady Sirjord from Norman County East/Ulen Hitterdal, Mason Bartos, Jordan Jaster and Sam Rothschadl from Waubun.
Wade Sullivan, a running back from Lakeville North High School (East Metro District – White Sub-District, Class 6A) was named Mr. Football for 2016 by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association (MFCA).
Wade Sullivan is the thirteenth player to receive the Mr. Football Award and the first from Lakeville North High School. His head coach at Lakeville North High School was Brian Vossen.
