The Chargers Volleyball team hosted Warren/Alvarado/Oslo in Goodridge on Monday, August 31st for their first official game and won the match in four games. (26-24, 25-16, 22-25, 25-21)

The Chargers traveled to Newfolden later in the week, playing a game against the Northern Freeze on Thursday, September 3rd. Playing five games, the Chargers also claimed the victory that evening. (20-25, 25-27, 25-23, 21-25, 15-11)

Of this game, Head Coach Jean Schulz had to say it was a great win and fun volleyball to watch. “Both teams played hard,” she added.
Coming up this week on the volleyball calendar: Chargers head to Baudette to play LOW on Thursday, September 10th. They’ll also take to the road on Saturday, September 12th for a Varsity volleyball tournament in Ada at 9am.
