Another couple of wins for Chargers Volleyball

A couple of wins for the Chargers volleyball team last week! Tuesday, September 8th, the team hosted Warroad in Grygla and won in 3 games. (25-18, 29-27, 26-24)

Coaches Comments: “I am so proud of how the girls came from behind and won games 2 and 3. Seniors Maddy Bakken and Shantel Verbout really stepped it up in game 3.”

JV and C each won 2-0. 7th & 8th grade lost their games.

The Chargers traveled to Baudette last Thursday, September 10th, where they beat Lake of the Woods in 3 games. (25-16, 25-11, 25-9)

Head Coach Jean Schulz had to say, “The girls played great. I was pleased with how the younger girls came off the bench and played a solid game.”

Saturday, September 12th, the varity team headed to Ada for a tournament. Results are as follows: In pool play, the Chargers beat the Win-E-Mac Patroits 2-0, lost to Roseau 0-2 and beat Northern Freeze 2-1. During the tournament round, the team lost to Fosston 0-2 and EGF 1-2.
