Gary J. Haugen, 60 from Prior Lake, MN passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 1-4 pm at the Cremation Society of MN, Edina.
Gary J. Haugen was born November 17, 1955 in Bemidji, MN to Orville and Elaine (Peterson) Haugen.
Gary grew up and attended school in Gonvick. He moved to the Twin Cities residing most of his life in the Prior Lake-Savage area. He married Donna Geror and had three daughters, Carla, Carrie & Cristy. He later married Lori Parks and had one daughter, Marie.
He was a loyal employee of Richard Knutson, Inc. in Savage for 33 years as a diesel mechanic.
Gary is survived by his children Carla (Jason) Carlquist of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Carrie Haugen of Prior Lake, MN, Cristy (Ryan) Mullin of New Prague, Marie Haugen of Lake Charles, Louisiana and stepson, Daniel Scullion of New Prague. Brothers: David (Debra) of Pine City, MN, Darrell of Shevlin, MN, Dale of Owatonna, MN, Gerald (Stephanie) of Farmington, MN, Glen (Carol) of Elk River, MN, Orvin of Gully, MN and Owen (Julie) of Gonvick, MN; three sisters: Delaine (Bill) Bjerke of Savage, MN, Diane (Gary) Dawson of Prior Lake, MN & Gloria (Greg) Peterson of Alexandria, MN.
9 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Elaine, and brother, Dallas.
