Darwyn John Nyegaard
Darwyn John Nyegaard, infant son of Adrianna (Hinrichs) and Nolan Nyegaard, was called home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, Minnesota. Though his time on earth was brief, he was deeply loved and will forever be cherished.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Frohn Cemetery. Lunch will follow the service at the Turtle River Town Hall in Turtle River Township, Bemidji.

Darwyn was not here for a long time, but for a perfect time. He had a short life, but a nice life, filled with love. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus, wrapped in His love, and surrounded by angels. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing we will one day be reunited with him in Heaven.
Darwyn is survived by his loving parents, Nolan and Adrianna Nyegaard of Bemidji, Minnesota; his brother, Orrin Nyegaard of Bemidji, Minnesota; grandparents, John and Janelle Nyegaard of Hallock, Minnesota; grandmother, Teresa Sundquist of Bemidji, Minnesota; grandfather, Joe Hinrichs of Shevlin, Minnesota; Mark Sundquist of Gonvick, Minnesota; and Scotty Stough of Bemidji, Minnesota.
He is also survived by his great-grandparents - the Holter’s of Drayton, North Dakota; the Nyegaard’s of Hallock, Minnesota; great-grandmother, Charlotte Fradet of Bemidji, Minnesota; great-grandmother, Judy Hinrichs of Shevlin, Minnesota; and great grandparents - the Sundquists of Gonvick, Minnesota; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Darwyn was preceded in death by his auntie, Charlotte Stough; great-grandfather, Bucky Hinrichs; great-grandfather, Rick Fradet; great-grandmother, Lydia Stough; Great grandpa -Wendel Stough and great-auntie, Becky Sundquist; as well as many great-aunts and great-uncles.
