McIntosh Public Library Schedules "Reading is Timeless" Summer Events 

MOORHEAD, MINNESOTA -  This June, the McIntosh Public Library is inviting young readers to step into a literary time machine with Lake Agassiz Regional Library's "Reading is Timeless" Summer Reading Program, including a packed lineup of free events and activities for youth. 

The following activities will be offered at the McIntosh Public Library:

• Summer Reading Kick-Off
  Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m.
  Kick off the Summer Reading Program at the McIntosh Public Library! Join us during open hours to pick up your reading logs and to participate in a Reading is Timeless activity.
• Timeless Tales with Micah
  Monday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m.
  Storytelling is at its best with Micah! He will bring a story to life using his own words, voice and body movements. Micah is a recent Fosston High School graduate bringing his experience being involved in Speech (storytelling), including making it to the MN State Speech competition.
• Nature is Timeless with an Itasca State Park Naturalist
  Wednesday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m.
  Every day in nature is special. Join a naturalist from Itasca State Park to explore plants and animals and how to track nature’s timeless calendar.
• Living Like Laura
  Monday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m.
  Step back in time to Little House on the Prairie with Win-E-Mac’s 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Frisk.  This cozy, old-fashioned gathering will bring Laura Ingalls Wilder’s timeless family stories to life through read-alouds from the My First Little House Books series and fun pioneer-style activities.
