TJ's Tavern Update on Opening!

It is almost a full year since TJ's closed for the Covid-19 pandemic, and it has been a long time since they have posted an update.

"We miss our wonderful customers very much, and thank all of you who have helped us stay afloat by purchasing your off-sale and to-go food from us during our limited service. Thank you! Thank you!"

They plan to re-open soon, but first they have some fixing to do. TJ's ancient bar coolers have broken down, and the process of replacing them has become an ever-enlarging project, with bad floors, broken tiles, and messed up walls. There are plumbing repairs, and there is painting to do, and along with all of that we want to revamp the liquor bottle shelving. Most of the interior will stay as it was, but the entire area behind the bar will be re-vamped and updated. They are also rearranging the kitchen.

They say there is a lot to do, so please bear with them! Hopefully, we will open sometime in April, if all goes well. And they can't wait to see you all again at TJ's!

They are planning a customer appreciation party to thank everyone when they are able to open to full-service!

Until then, we are still open for take-out food service and off-sale.
