RLCC Honor Society Induction

On Friday, October 23rd, Red Lake County Central High School hosted a gathering to congratulate those who were inducted into Minnesota Association of Honor Societies. Twelve students were inducted.

The ceremony included the Candlelight Ceremony where President Austin Waliser spoke on scholarship, Sami Smith spoke on service, Holly Vettleson spoke on leadership, and Kayla Olson spoke on character. Former Elementary School teacher Mrs. Connie Bishop was the guest speaker for the ceremony and spoke about how to be a leader and what each of the four pillars represented in MAHS.

The new inductees for MAHS included Asia Davis, Miranda Magnell, Natalie Aakhus, Megan Berberich, Taylor Bushelle, Nikki Schmitz, Hannah Kolstoe, Erin Jones, Jayden Fore, Katie Olson, Sydney Melby, and Mathew Vettleson.

Standing members in MAHS include Austin Waliser (President), Sami Smith (Vice President), Holly Vettleson (Secretary), Kayla Olson (Treasurer), Shelby Haugen, Seth Johnson, Angel Auman, Shelby Gunderson, Ashley Longtin, Tera Qualley, and Kelsie Sirjord.
