Oklee Market Day scheduled for August 14th

Save the date: Okee Market Day will be held August 14, 2021. The road construction going on in Oklee has made some changes for our events this year. All the events will be held on the south end of town at the Pickleball Court block and Main Street area. 

The Hero Hustle 5K for Organ Donation Awareness will start off the day events with registration at 8am and race start at 9am at the Veterans Memorial Site. Pre-Registration deadline for the 5K is July 23rd, get more info on our facebook page Oklee Market Day/ Hero Hustle 5K. 

Crafter and Vendors will be set up outside this year, you can still register for a spot at no charge. 

The Car Show is a poplar event and will be moved to the south end of Main Street. Get to town before 10am to register your cars and watch for signs on where to enter. 

Street games are tons of fun for kids and adults , they will be held on the south end of main street starting at 11am. 

Cornhole Tournament has been a big event for Market Day and registration will be held at 10:30am-11:30am, get there early teams fill up fast. Bags will fly at 12:30pm to start the tournament. 

A new event this year is the Scavenger Hunt, at 12:00pm come and get your list and rules and start the hunt to win prizes. 

Pickleball Tournament will begin at 2pm, pre-registration is preferred but you can also register that day. 

If you like to golf, try your skills out at the Chip Shot Challenge which will be held from 4pm-6pm near the softball fields. 

Oklee Lumber Alumni Softball game is always a fun one to attend, that will begin at 5pm at the softball fields. 

Sundown by Wild Wes will be playing music under the tent starting at 8pm - 11pm. 

Oklee Quilting Supply is having a virtual quilt show online, check that out on facebook and vote for your favorite quilt. 

Since we can't have our sidewalk chalk contest because of the street construction we have a drawing contest you can enter, send in your artwork by August 1st for a chance to win cash prizes. 

Smoke on Wheels, Zion Lutheran Church and American Legion Frank Lund Post 159 will be serving food, TJ's Tavern will serve beverages and an ice cream truck will be available for treats.
